ECKHART PUBLIC LIBRARY
The Eckhart Public Library Campus will have modified hours on Thursday, May 9th, so that all staff members may participate in a morning training session.
The campus will open at 1:00 pm. (The Teen Library will open, as usual, at 3:30 pm.)
The Library Campus includes our Main Library, Administrative Annex, Teen Library, and Genealogy Center. The book and media drop adjacent to the library parking lot is always open.Even though the library is closed, our online resources, streaming, and digital content are available 24 hours a day. The library also offers free, public WiFi in our outdoor areas and parking lot. To connect, look for “EPL Public.”
Registration is open for DeKalb County Mock Newbery
Each year we will select, read, and discuss children’s literature with the ideas of the Newbery Medal in mind. DeKalb County Mock Newbery selects their own top pick at the end of the sessions. Monthly sessions begin in June and end in December. In-person and virtual options will be available.
All teachers and library staff members that participate are eligible to receive a continuing education credit per session.
